Day 1 post procedure! After I did all my paperwork I was taken into the procedure room and got my before photos. We agreed on how my natural brows shaped my face and how we could correct and and shape them. I love powder brow, I was thinking of doing hair strokes into powder but I last minute knew I’d like the full fill. After we mapped, we numbed! While I numbed for 20 minutes I just sat on my phone and chilled, chit chatted with my friends and then the process began. Easy as that! After numbing they did the first tattoo pass which is just a cat scratching, it is a stinging but you are immediately numbed after. That was the only time I was the slightest bit uncomfortable. The second and final third pass I actually fell asleep for. This is all subjective and what I felt, everyone is different. You may experience more pain than I, or none at all! Finally Ly after all passes were done I did a ink soak, where pigment lays on top of the tattoo to really let every molecule soak in. It’s then wiped away, aquaphor is applied and then you have some beautiful brows! The whole process took about 2.5 hours. I love them! They are bruised and the blood is setting so they look angry and bold but I am so excited to see my healed result! We used a warm taupe to compliment my natural blonde hair and to counteract my purple undertones. Immediately after I did my hour long ice soak, 15 minutes on 5 minutes off. It helped with the stinging and swelling a ton! Its been a 4 hours now since the procedure, I don’t even feel like I got a tattoo on my face. No swelling, no pain, no irritation. I keep them nice and glistening with a thin layer of aquaphor so they won’t dry heal. So this was the first day! I’ll go home and unfortunately for 4 days my baby girl Heidi, my calico cat won’t be able to sleep with me. I won’t get them wet and I’ll be keeping a close eye on the color. Stay tuned for the upcoming weeks!!
